At the Heino Eller Tartu Music College, you have an excellent opportunity to acquire two-in-one education: vocational education in music + secondary education = vocational secondary education!
Vocational secondary education means that:
-
you can dedicate the majority of your study time to music and receive comprehensive preparation to pursue further studies in Estonian or European higher music schools;
-
compared with all other curricula, the duration of your studies is 4 years, allowing for in-depth learning and more speciality lessons in total;
-
the secondary education you receive with us is compact yet personalised – our small groups allow teachers to consider the individual characteristics of all students;
-
the final examinations of upper secondary school are optional for you – if you do wish to take the examinations, we offer comprehensive opportunities for preparation. In English, it is possible to take the Cambridge C1 Advanced examination;
-
you can choose elective courses from our continuously growing list of courses as well as, for example, from the Edumus School, UT Youth Academy and other vocational educational or higher education institutions.
To enrol in a vocational secondary education curriculum:
-
