International Chamber Music festival FESTARI (F-festival, ES-Espoo, TA-Tartu, RI-Riga) is long-term cooperation project between three music educational institutions – Espoo Music Institute (Finland), Heino Eller Tartu Music School (Estonia) and Jāzeps Mediņš Riga 1st Music School (Latvia), which started 2006.
Participants in the festival are students from music schools and secondary schools between age of 8 to 25. The main purpose of the festival is to raise importance of the chamber music education for children and youth, to support exchange of the pedagogical experience and to promote interest in every country’s cultural heritage and innovations in music education.
