Steinway piano
The Steinway & Sons concert grand piano arrived at the Tubin Hall of our school on 23 September 2015.
The piano was selected at the Steinway & Sons piano factory in Hamburg. The selection was made by Lauri Väinmaa, Associate Professor at EAMT, and Jaan Kapp, lecturer at Heino Eller Tartu Music College.

The Steinway & Sons concert grand piano for the Tubin Hall cost 158,400 euros.
The acquisition of the concert piano was made possible largely thanks to funding from the project ‘Purchase of learning materials for the new study complex’, received under the measure ‘Modernisation of the learning environment of vocational educational institutions’ as part of the EU project ‘Development of education infrastructure’.
In addition, the purchase of the piano was supported by the non-profit association Elleri Loomekeskus, Tartu City Government, several generous anonymous donors and, through the Cultural Endowment of Tartu, the following people:
Toomas Hansson, Janika Jakobson, Imbi Jaks, Volli Kalm, Rein Kermes, Raul Koni, Kaja Kuslapuu, Eva Lepik, Tõnu Loog, Mati Meos, Aare Märtson, Janar Paeglis, Peep Pree, Neeme Raig, Vallo Raudsepp, Natalia Sakkos,
Ene-Mall Vernik-Tuubel
We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone whose support made the arrival of the new piano in the Tubin Hall possible!
